Chris Havlicek & the 1996 Olympic Handball Team

Chris Havlicek, who was on the 1996 Olympic Handball Team, played basketball for UVA all four year of college, and was the team’s captain his senior year. Learn more about Chris Havlicek’s journey to the 1996 Olympic Handball Team. He later played professionally for Italy, but left to begin training for the 1996 US Olympics Handball Team in Atlanta, GA.
