One member of the University of Virginia’s basketball incoming recruiting class Kyle Guy recently sat down with The Daily Progress to discuss a variety of topics including his goals while at UVA, the Cavaliers journey in the last NCAA tournament, the McDonalds experience, and confirming or denying rumors that have been swirling around him.
Kyle Guy is a 6’3 combo guard from Indianapolis that was recently awarded the Indiana Mr. Basketball award and was named to the McDonalds All-American team. At the American Family High School Slam and 3-Point Championship, Guy took home the 3-point trophy which was no surprise as he has been one of the best shooters in high school but he did surprise the crowd when he not only entered the dunk contest but made it to the Finals. This is a true testament to the abilities and potential of this 18yr old. He will arrive at the UVA campus after he competes in the Indiana All-Star game.
